Before Milan Design Week unfolds, this is an early glimpse into the projects shaping the season—where design, atmosphere, and everyday rituals intersect.

Form takes the lead in Bieke Casteleyn’s Milan presentation. Within In Clover. An Immersive Landscape of Softness, the Belgian furniture brand approaches space through shape and proportion, allowing furniture to define atmosphere as much as the room itself.

Developed in collaboration with JOV, the project unfolds as a shared environment where furniture and textile exist in dialogue. At its center is the organic clover shape—a recurring motif in Bieke Casteleyn’s language and the foundation for a new family of pieces, from dining and coffee tables to mirrors and occasional objects. Soft geometries and sculptural volumes give the collection a calm, grounded presence.

Materials shape the mood of the space. Cement stucco, high-gloss lacquer, maple and afrormosia wood, suede leather, and marble come together in a composition that feels warm yet precise. In conversation with JOV’s hand-tufted textile surfaces, the furniture settles naturally into the environment, creating a coherent and lived-in landscape.

Throughout the installation, craftsmanship reveals itself through detail rather than display. Edges, finishes, and proportions are carefully considered, reflecting a contemporary Belgian approach to design—restrained, tactile, and enduring.

With In Clover, Bieke Casteleyn frames furniture as an architectural presence, where softness is expressed through form, material balance, and quiet confidence.
