The Beauty Of Straw Marquetry: Chevron Rays And Simple Rays

Resulting from the desire of mixing two very tactile materials, the Flo coffee tables are part of the 2023 collection by A&B Living and combine a liquid metal texture, reminiscent of a casting, and rye straw, which gives unique reflections.

For the design of the top, in straw marquetry, two geometric patterns have been chosen: chevron rays and simple rays. A stylistic choice that makes it clear, from the first glance, that this is a piece of furniture closely resembling a work of art.

This is the first piece of furniture among the A&B Living collections designed by Alessio Bernardini, the brand’s founder and president. Since he founding the company, Bernardini has counted on the collaboration of internationally renowned designers without renouncing to experiments with his own ideas. The result is Flo, an occasional table which portrays continuous research into materials, the great skill of A&B Living‘s craftsmen and a timeless design that fits into several different environments.
