Thoughtfully Designed Objects for Everyday Rituals

A cake stand that gives dessert its moment, a vase that welcomes seasonal flowers, or a candleholder that softens the evening light. Sometimes, it is the smallest details that turn everyday rituals into moments worth sharing.

Ceremony, cake stand – Neri&Hu

With YOU ARE HOME, Editions Milano explores the art of hospitality through objects that shape the experience of gathering. From setting the table and serving drinks to lighting a candle, each piece reflects the familiar gestures that make people feel welcome. Bringing together re-editions and contemporary designs by creators with distinct backgrounds and sensibilities, the collection celebrates considered materials, artisanal craftsmanship, and the pleasure of being together. Its sentiment is simple: nobody leaves before dessert.

Magellano – Vico Magistretti

Designed by Neri&Hu, Ceremony gives cakes, biscuits, and the traditional panettone a place in the spotlight. Crafted from Verde Guatemala marble with a Canaletto walnut base, the cake stand combines a slender silhouette with a sculptural presence. It comes in three sizes: 25 centimetres in diameter and 17 centimetres high, 33 centimetres in diameter and 12 centimetres high, and 39 centimetres in diameter and 10 centimetres high.

Presented by Interni Cipta Selaras

A design by Vico Magistretti from 1971, Magellano welcomes flowers through a timeless spherical form. Two identical hemispheres meet to create a globe-like silhouette, its hand-worked surface traced with a delicate grid of meridians and parallels. Made in Italy by master artisans from palladium-finished brass, the vase bears Magistretti’s engraved signature on its base. Available in diameters of 15 and 25 centimetres, it brings a sculptural accent to different interiors.

Cooler G – Pietro Russo

Designed by Pietro Russo, Cooler offers an elegant way to serve wine or champagne at the right temperature. Carved from Grand Antique marble, its striking black-and-white veining makes it a natural centrepiece, while the stone keeps the bottle chilled without ice. Measuring 12.4 centimetres in diameter and 40 centimetres high, it balances practical function with the beauty of natural stone.

Triangoli, vase – david nicolas

Inspired by the shape of a crown, Triangoli by david/nicolas brings a regal yet playful character to the table. Crafted from Verde Alpi marble, the vase balances delicate proportions with a distinctive silhouette that feels both contemporary and timeless. Measuring 15 centimetres in diameter and 21 centimetres high, it belongs to a wider collection of marble vases and centrepieces, handmade in Italy and available in several colours.

Arch, candle holder – Piet Boon

As the evening settles in, Arch by Piet Boon introduces a softer atmosphere through sculptural simplicity. Made from Bardiglio Nuvolato marble, the candleholder measures 5.5 centimetres in diameter and 27 centimetres high. Its understated form creates an intimate atmosphere on its own, while a grouping of several pieces makes a bolder sculptural statement.

Through these designs, YOU ARE HOME reminds us that hospitality is found in the details: a beautifully set table, a welcoming space, and the little gestures that make a gathering last longer.
