Returning to Salone del Mobile after a 25-year absence, B&B Italia unveiled a collection that reaffirms its ability to balance contemporary innovation with design heritage. Presented within an architectural space designed by Formafantasma, the 2026 collection places craftsmanship, materiality, and architectural thinking at the forefront.

Nena – Richard Sapper

Leading the launch is Untitled Outdoor (indoor – outdoor), a new modular seating system by Vincent Van Duysen, which explores the relationship between exposed timber structures and generous comfort. The designer also introduced Field Outdoor low tables and Moor, a sculptural natural rattan chaise longue that extends the collection’s dialogue between indoor and outdoor living.

Metric – Michael Anastassiades

New collaborations further enrich the collection. Michael Anastassiades debuts Metric, a refined seating family defined by visual lightness and precise oak construction, while Ronan Bouroullec presents Abaco, a table and armchair collection that celebrates visible construction and the interplay of wood, concrete, glass, leather, and lacquer.

Longtime collaborator Antonio Citterio contributes Alvar, an armchair collection that reinterprets traditional woodworking through woven cork details and contemporary craftsmanship. For outdoor settings, Jasper Morrison introduces Super Frame, a family of seating and tables distinguished by its curved tubular structure and relaxed elegance.
