The poetic “Cabinets of Curiosities” installation

At Milan Design Week 2025, Zucchetti unveiled a trio of visionary collections that continue its pursuit of design excellence and international distinction. Premiered within the poetic Cabinets of Curiosities installation at the brand’s new Corso Venezia 29 showroom, the space unfolded as a museum-like installation, where a series of curated cabinets hosted new bathroom collections—each presented as a self-contained universe. The new collections—Veloce, a faucet collection by the acclaimed Yabu Pushelberg; Ellissea, an elegant series of showerheads by Alberto and Francesco Meda; and Bar 59, a visionary shower system by Matteo Fiorini with Studio Lys —explore new dimensions of functionality, elegance, and innovation in the bathroom space.

VELOCE by Yabu Pushelberg
With Veloce, the Canadian studio Yabu Pushelberg reinterprets the streamlined glamour of 1930s design through the lens of contemporary luxury. This sculptural tap collection pays homage to vintage automobiles and modernist architecture, with a balance of movement, tactility, and formal harmony. Available in single-lever and two-handle versions, Veloce features refined finishes and distinctive silhouettes that merge tradition with mechanical precision. Crafted from solid brass and offered in a rich palette of finishes, Veloce is designed for elevated environments—from luxury residences to high-end hospitality. Its tactile qualities and architectural forms evoke an era when design spoke of permanence and purpose.

ELLISSEA by Alberto and Francesco Meda
A collaboration between father and son, Ellissea exemplifies the Medas’ signature clarity and subtle complexity. This new series of showerheads takes its inspiration from the fluid elegance of a dew drop, reimagined through the lens of a rotating ellipsoid. The result is a visual and functional lightness that enhances the experience of water with poetic simplicity. Available in two sizes and crafted from AISI 316L stainless steel, Ellissea offers a delicate, rain-like jet while maintaining a low water flow. Its tapered form and minimal design language elevate it beyond the purely functional—celebrating water as an elemental ritual.

BAR 59 by Matteo Fiorini with Studio Lys
Designed for versatility and expression, Bar 59 redefines the contemporary shower system. This modular collection offers a playful yet precise take on customization. Its cylindrical and flat components form a system of micro-architectures that adapt effortlessly to different environments—from spa-like sanctuaries to compact urban bathrooms. Made in AISI 316L stainless steel and available in multiple finishes, Bar 59 allows for the seamless integration of jets, functions, and formats. At its core is a customizable plate system that simplifies installation while ensuring technical and aesthetic consistency. It’s an experiment in adaptability—where innovation meets intuitive design.

Zucchetti once again demonstrates its unique ability to combine creative vision with industrial craftsmanship. The whole collections embody the brand’s evolving design language—one rooted in curiosity, elegance, and enduring innovation.
