At Milan’s creative hub MelzoDodici, Del Savio 1910 unveils Orizzonti and Marble Marbling, two new collections that reflect the company’s 115-year legacy of marble craftsmanship filtered through contemporary experimentation.

The space transforms into a refined scenography for the work of Zanellato/Bortotto, whose artistic direction has guided Del Savio since 2019. Marble Marbling reinterprets the age-old technique of paper marbling through four sculptural tables. Their surfaces—an intricate fusion of marble and pigmented cement—translate a traditionally fluid craft into a solid, tactile medium, resulting in dynamic, irregular patterns that feel both ancient and unmistakably modern.

Orizzonti offers a more meditative study of marble. Inspired by the delicate stratifications of morning frost, the collection reveals subtle textures and tonal shifts that emerge gradually from matte white surfaces. Available in refined stones such as Bardiglio, Cipollino, Verde Guatemala, Grigio Carnico, and Rosso Levanto, the series highlights marble’s capacity for softness, nuance, and atmospheric depth.
