Threads of Creation

For Milan Design Week 2025, Walter Knoll has set up a temporary showroom in Brera, Milan. The showroom, which is situated on Via Palermo, exemplifies the company’s dedication to fusing concepts, artistry, and originality to create a poetic environment that incorporates Brera’s dynamic energy.

Space design by Ippolito Fleitz Group
Stuttgart-based Ippolito Fleitz combined textile compositions, threads, ribbons, and cords to create a multi-layered spatial art installation on Via Palermo that blurs the lines between furniture, space, and material. This network makes the creative process tangible.

Shinzo Hybrid Lounge Chair
“Masterful artistry in a truly exceptional way.”  – EOOS –

The Shinzo Hybrid lounge chair by Walter Knoll is a multipurpose addition to any area because it can be used both indoors and outdoors. It is weatherproof and portable indoors thanks to its finely woven structure and corrosion-resistant stainless steel frame, which go well with the hand-woven cords. The chair comes in walnut, burned oak, and white pigmented oak varieties; for outdoor use, UV-resistant textiles are advised. Walter Knoll’s dedication to quality craftsmanship and longevity is demonstrated by the Shinzo Hybrid.

Sooso Side Table
“Sooso is a work of art in the room” – EOOS –

Sooso is a one-of-a-kind sculpture that blends the organic beauty of wood with exquisite craftsmanship. It has three cylinders entwining into a sculpture, flowing lines, and a form that arises from movement. The object has a precise geometry that evokes feelings, as well as presence, expression, and character. Like barrel construction, the construction is a precise series of numerous individual solid wood bars. A well-considered technique that uses minimal material is that the interior space stays free. Made in Germany using European wood and comes in walnut with sapwood, burned oak, and white pigmented oak. It has a protective natural hard wax finish and can also be used as a side table.

Oki Saddle Side Table
“Flexible, elegant, versatile” – EOOS –

The Oki coffee table is elegant and versatile, making it appropriate for a variety of settings, including wine, tea, and coffee. It has a beautifully upholstered leather surface that adds style and coziness. The delicate frame complements the leather surface and comes in sand, bronze, or black. Covered in clay, coffee, or black, the Oki Saddle highlights the material’s natural depth and fine structure.

Joco Saddle Table
“Light in expression, strong in detail.” – EOOS –

A chic piece that blends handcrafted precision with filigree elegance is the Joco Side Table. It makes a beautiful statement for interiors thanks to its elegant leather surface. The sophisticated feel of the leather surface is highlighted by color variations that go well with the design, such as warm bronze with Saddle Leather in Coffee or deep black with Saddle Leather in Black.
