High above Jakarta’s glittering skyline, Tom’s by Tom Aikens at The Langham, Jakarta invites diners on a refined culinary journey to South America with Noche Argentina, an immersive dining experience celebrating the rich traditions of Argentinian cuisine.

Running from 23 January to 17 February 2026, this limited-time showcase is curated by Chef Diego, who brings together premium ingredients, time-honoured cooking techniques, and thoughtfully selected Argentinian wines to capture the warmth and convivial spirit of his homeland. Set on the 62nd floor of The Langham Jakarta, the experience pairs sweeping city views with the bold, comforting flavours that define Argentina’s celebrated culinary culture.

An elevated experience of Noche Argentina starts with an elegant set-menu dinner format, allowing diners to savour each dish in its purest expression. The menu opens with a series of Argentinian favourite snacks, reimagined with finesse. Highlights include Beef Empanadas inspired by Chef Diego’s grandmother’s recipe, filled with Malbec-reduced beef brightened by herbs and lemon; the beloved Choripán, featuring grilled beef chorizo in a crusty baguette with criolla sauce; and Argentinian Chipa, airy cheese puffs paired with honey mustard. Each dish pays homage to soul of Argentinian comfort food, elevated through refined culinary technique.

At the heart of the experience lies Argentina’s famed grilling tradition. Premium Wagyu cuts are cooked over open flame, including Wagyu Picana, Wagyu Bife de Chorizo, and an impressive Wagyu Bife Ancho con Hueso, each paired with Terrazas de los Andes Reserva Malbec 2022. These exclusive wine pairings were available during the opening wine-pairing evenings (January 23rd & 24th), adding depth and authenticity to the dining experience.

The event’s opening was further distinguished by the attendance of His Excellency Gustavo Ricardo Coppa, Ambassador of the Republic of Argentina to Indonesia, underscoring the cultural significance of the occasion and reinforcing the authenticity behind the culinary narrative.

“Argentinian cuisine is deeply personal — it is about family, fire, patience, and respect for ingredients”, Chef Diego shared, reflecting on the experience. “With Noche Argentina, I wanted to bring not only flavours of my home, but also the emotion behind the table — where food is meant to be shared, stories are told, and wine flows naturally.”
