In celebration of his atelier’s 25th anniversary, British designer Alexander Lamont unveils the XXV Spring Collection—a poetic dialogue between the raw grandeur of ancient landscapes and refined artisanal craft. Drawing on childhood memories spent climbing the tors of the English countryside and the weathered stone faces of Yorkshire and Wales, Lamont distills nature’s enduring forms into a series of sculptural tables defined by texture, movement, and material harmony.

Named after the limestone amphitheater in Yorkshire, the Malham Tables echo the cliff’s monumental strata. Shagreen surfaces—floating in layers and angles—lend a tactile dynamism to the cocktail and spot tables, offered in speckled neutrals, Egyptian blue, earthy Chocolate, and warm Saffron tones.

The Tor Side Tables, inspired by granite outcrops that crown the moors, feature organically curving tops wrapped in shagreen, poised atop rugged cast-metal bases. Their light and dark variations conjure a landscape in flux—sunlight and shadow in quiet tension.

By contrast, the Ondas Side Tables channel the fluid rhythm of waves. Their softly intersecting forms, finished in straw marquetry, travertine, and breccia marble, capture the ephemeral movement of water through the disciplined hand of the artisan.

Ondas Side Table

Meticulously composed from shagreen, parchment, and richly hued straw marquetry, the collection evokes the allure of architectural fragments ( chair, sofa, cabinet, side table to lighting). Every form reflects a deep reverence for artisanal excellence, transforming rare materials into timeless expressions of design.
