The Restyling of Limes Highlights the Sofa’s Architectural Clarity

When Limes first debuted in 2002, Sergio Bicego introduced a concept that felt almost prophetic—a sofa defined by flexibility, transformation, and the freedom to reconfigure space. With its movable back panels that could be positioned on any side of the base, Limes allowed living areas to shift and adapt with unprecedented ease. What once seemed unimaginable became effortless.

In 2025, this pioneering system returns with a refined, more contemporary expression. The restyling highlights the sofa’s architectural clarity: a raised metal rod becomes a more pronounced, graphic element, elegantly framing the structure and accentuating the mobility of the back panels. The redesign also introduces two back-cushion heights—one taller for deep shoulder support, the other lower for a more minimal, formal aesthetic—allowing users to tailor both comfort and character.
