Salone del Mobile 2025: Flowing Through Spaces

Potoccos “Flowing Through Shapes” concept for Salone del Mobile 2025 features a mise-en-scene that transports guests through shapes. The stand, which was created by Studio Binocle and art directed by Chiara Andreatti, follows a linear geometric pattern as it winds between indoor and outdoor spaces. The stand adds to the room’s lively aesthetics with its alternating circular and flat walls, contrasting textures, and gold finishes. The gold finishes in every room add to the stand’s vivid appearance.

Art director Chiara Andreatti explains, “This year we worked on an architectural box that alternates curved and squared volumes defined by natural shades in terracotta tones. The use of smooth and rough plaster lends movement and warmth to the rooms. Hints of color and texture in the textile upholstery enrich a measured, powdery palette brightened by accents of periwinkle, green, and rust. The rooms follow one another along an experiential path between indoor and outdoor settings, including living, dining, and small study areas. Glimpses and openings frame the new Potocco collection bathed in rosy hues, raw materials such as taupe compacted-stone brick for the outdoors, and a tatami-effect woven floor for the indoor spaces.”

In a sophisticated setting, Potocco unveiled New Collections and Products for 2025, which included essential lines and striking color contrasts, as well as new partnerships and a restyling of brand icons.

Softy by Vladislav Tolochko
Potocco and Ukrainian designer Vladislav Tolochko collaborated for the first time on the Softy armchair, a padded chair with a circular seat. The cylindrical shape of the legs, which encircle the circular seat and concave backrest, reflects the geometric design of the chair. While the padding and fabric upholstery from Potocco‘s collection offer a soft, comfortable seating solution, the chair’s structure guarantees longevity. Softy is a flexible addition to contemporary environments, providing a dynamic seating option that can fit into any setting and give the room personality.

Softy by Vladislav Tolochko

Softy is a story of freedom, movement, and uniqueness brought to life by a design blending aesthetics and comfort. Inspired by the image of wild animals running freely through wide-open meadows, it reflects their grace, individuality, and strength. This welcoming armchair creates a balance between flowing lines, essential geometries, and a refined softness.”

Pages by Omi Tahara
The open pages of a book served as the inspiration for Studio Omi Tahara‘s distinctive design for the Pages bookcase. It has support columns made of carved solid wood with delicate, uneven lines that resemble leafed paper. The dynamic, light structure promotes equilibrium between stability and lightness by balancing with the natural materials’ solidity. It can be tailored for both residential and commercial settings and comes in a variety of configurations. Pages is an architectural sign that adds harmony and movement to spaces because of its meticulous woodworking and versatility in creating regular or irregular compositions.

Pages by Omi Tahara

With Pages, I wanted to express the feeling of lightness and continuity that comes with flipping through a book. The supporting columns are designed to evoke the natural movement of open pages, transforming the image into a solid, sculptural structure. I focused on the shape of the curves to create a balance between strength and delicacy, making the visual lightness dialogue with the materiality of solid wood. This bookcase brings a sense of calm and harmony to the room, an invitation to slow down and appreciate the simplicity of the lines and materials.”

E Claire by Ferriani.Sbolgi
Ferriani.Sbolgi, a Florentine studio, released its first collection, E Claire.Three mirrors, a wall-mounted console table, and a freestanding console table composed of marble and ash wood are all features of Ferriani.Sbolgi for Potocco. A French éclair-like interlocking element is incorporated into the collection’s design. The console table comes in freestanding or wall-mounted styles, and the mirrors come in three sizes to accommodate different settings. The minimalist echoes in both designs add to the collection’s visual appeal.

E Claire by Ferriani.Sbolgi

The name E Claire refers to an iconic French pastry, éclairs, and their tapered, elongated shape evoked by the key detail of the design. The focal point is the interlocking joint between two elements with a flattened, rounded section, whose sharp, graphic intersection creates a soft but sculptural silhouette, with subtle references to brutalism.”

Kyma by Andrea Radice
The Kyma table by Andrea Radice is an elegant piece that blends dynamism and harmony in a single sculpture. Eight flat bands on the central base rotate around the vertical axis to produce a beautiful wave-like swirling motion. While the composite base improves reflections and the enveloping effect of the bands, the ash top adds texture to the wood. Without sacrificing stability, the meticulous craftsmanship adds lightness to the entire volume and enhances the perception of movement.

Kyma by Andrea Radice

I wanted to interpret the idea of stability in motion with Kyma. I was inspired by the continuous flow of waves, that sense of lightness and dynamism that never stops, but at the same time conveys strength and balance. The interweaving of the bands forming the base stems precisely from this vision: a controlled vortex, in which each element contributes to creating a harmonious, sculptural whole. The result is a table that fluidly dialogues with space: eye-catching, but without ever weighing down the surrounding environment.”

Solar by Mario Ferrarini
Solar is an outdoor armchair designed by Mario Ferrarini and Potocco. For warmth and naturalness, it has solid teak armrests and an aluminum frame that has been powder-coated. Soft padded volumes created with Dryfeel® padding and technical outdoor fabrics are combined with the simple profile and clean lines to provide comfort and functionality. Solar is the ideal combination of materials, design, and ergonomics, making it perfect for furnishing homes and commercial spaces in a stylish manner.

Solar by Mario Ferrarini

With the Solar seat, I wanted to create a chair that was welcoming in a discreet yet assertive way, combining purity of form with materials that convey solidity and warmth. The light and durable aluminum is perfectly intersected by teak, a living wood that transforms over time and tells its own story. The design was conceived for both interiors and exteriors, able to adapt to the spaces and relationships that take shape there, providing comfort and conviviality.”
