The Storage System transforms interior architecture by seamlessly integrating with Porro’s layer panelling system, creating cohesive environments where walls not only support design but also conceal functional elements like niches, doors, and cabinets. These architectural backdrops help create evocative atmospheres, offering a range of finishes from Porro’s curated collection of woods and lacquers.

Hinged Storage in Frassino White: Nordic Purity
In the bedroom, the Byron bed by Piero Lissoni blends contemporary design with nostalgic appeal. Its upholstered frame, soft linen headboard, and a screen with a solid black-stained ash frame enclosing a straw weave create a calming yet striking focal point. The Byron bedside table, crafted from open-pore stained ivory wood, reflects the same craftsmanship with its compact form and bevelled edges. In the backdrop, the Storage Battente wardrobe in frassino white melamine and black-painted metal is complemented by transparent Iron doors and an illuminated hanging rail, creating a dramatic black-and-white contrast that lights up the space.

Storage Boiserie and Layer Panelling System in Straw: Material Tactility
The Glide Samurai sliding partitions combine eucalyptus melamine at the top with glass at the bottom, serving as a striking screen that conceals a wardrobe. This refined space, featuring the Layer wall panelling system designed by CRS Porro in a light straw hue, draws from Scandinavian design influences. The Storage Boiserie, also designed by Lissoni + CRS Porro, showcases cuvée metal accents and white cherry wood shelves and drawers with glass fronts. Integrated lighting highlights these architectural volumes, making them emerge from the straw-covered backdrop.

Storage Dressing Room in Eucalipto 23: Enveloping Warmth
This corner dressing room, designed by Lissoni and the Porro Research Centre, features open compartments in eucalipto23 melamine, a deep finish with subtle streaks, along with new Portrait doors in hemp-coloured fabric. The space is further refined with transparent modules and illuminated shelves. A slim 25×25 mm metal frame ensures the perfect integration of various elements, adding lightness to the overall composition. In the centre, two Origata benches by Nao Tamura, painted in denim blue, provide a unique perspective with their minimalist aluminum construction.

Storage Dressing Room and Storage Isola in Black Sugi: Flawless Sophistication
The large Storage Dressing Room, designed by Lissoni + CRS Porro, is accessed via Glide Miru sliding partitions framed in black and featuring Mirror Stripe glass, a pattern of alternating transparent and mirrored stripes. The space is finished with hanging handbag fittings in black sugi, a refined, deep matt black finish inspired by the traditional Japanese Sou Sugi Ban technique. This method, which involves charring cedar wood with charcoal, gives the surface its distinctive veining and texture. At the center, the new Storage Isola chest of drawers features a black glass top, sand lacquer open compartments, and a front drawer unit in black sugi, offering versatile storage solutions for both home and high-end contract environments.
