A New Collection of Artisan-made Furniture and Accessories

The London-based design firm Pirajean Lees is introducing EDITIONS, a new line of artisanal, eco-friendly furniture and décor pieces. Designed by Lees and produced in partnership with artisans, the collection offers a variety of rich aesthetics that can be combined or used separately. Coffee tables, pendant lights, onyx bookends, a circular sofa, a rug, burl, bookcases lined with silk and velvet, a desk, an upholstered timber stool, and a lounge chair are among the first items.

Pirajean Lees creates one-of-a-kind pieces that emphasize materiality, such as fabric texture, onyx veins, and timber grain. Each piece tells its own story thanks to their narrative-based design approach. They can alter the materials and dimensions to make it to order. Additionally, Pirajean Lees offers custom commissions, which let customers participate in the design process and customize the item to suit their requirements.

For outstanding comfort, the London-made CH05 Listening Chair and SO02 Sofa are constructed with solid wood frames, custom coil springs, and horsehair. They can hold a record player and vinyl collection, making them perfect for audiophiles. With its textured cushions, generous proportions, and modular design, the velvet-upholstered SO02 Sofa allows for custom interior arrangements.

The CB02 Bookcase and CB03 Desk are handcrafted in the UK from burl wood and feature chrome detailing, drawing inspiration from traditional luthier cases. Each piece’s textural quality is enhanced by the mohair and silk linings, which also make any space feel welcoming.

The CH06 Stool, which comes in low and high versions, is perfect for bars or used in conjunction with the CB03 Desk. It has four sculptural timber legs and a round base with a curvy upholstered seat. The TC01 Coffee Tables’ intersecting triangular shapes form a sophisticated, asymmetrical pair.

Inspired by Chladni patterns, the RG07 Rug was designed in the UK and handcrafted in India using wool from New Zealand and bamboo silk. It transforms sound into a visually striking and richly tactile rhythm.

With its pleated sheer wool shade and braided bronze cables, the LP01 Pendant Light is a circular piece of antique brass that emits a cozy, moody glow. The honey onyx used to make the ACC01 Bookends is hand-selected and polished to bring out its beauty.

EDITIONS is a reflection on our passion for design and craftsmanship. The design and making process is as important as the end product; creating the collection has enabled us to enjoy the freedom of creating pieces without constraints,” says Clemence Pirajean, co-founder of Pirajean Lees.

“Narrative design is at the core of what we do as designers, so it was important for us to create a collection that was reflective of our approach to design. In recent years, our clients have become increasingly interested not only in the design of their space but also the furniture and objects that are featured within it. Our homes should be filled with pieces that have meaning and evoke emotion, enabling them to last for years and become pieces that can be passed onto future generations. EDITIONS gives us the opportunity to create beautiful hand-made furniture and objects that have purpose. Each piece has a story behind it that our clients can treasure for years to come,” says James Lees, co-founder of Pirajean Lees.

The first pieces in the series are now available from www.pirajeanlees.com. Further designs will be introduced to the collection in Autumn 2025 followed by new additions annually.
