Tecton Collection
Monitillo 1980, an esteemed Italian company founded in 1980 and specializing in the artistry of marble, granite, and natural stone, is set to inspire at the Salone del Mobile in Milan from April 8 to 13, 2025. The company will unveil its latest furniture and coverings, crafted in partnership with visionary French architect and interior designer Felix Millory.

The Tecton collection transforms marble into a breathtaking medium, embodying the human touch and the beauty of time’s passage. This collection is a testament to the harmonious blend of craftsmanship and design, where material exploration yields truly unique forms.

Presented by Zipblind
Tecton redefines the relationship between sculptural surfaces and pure volumes, inviting us to appreciate the three-dimensional nature of stone. From dining tables and coffee tables to consoles, seating, and lighting, each piece is a study in contrasts, marrying the raw beauty of hand-carved details with the precision of geometric lines, allowing the natural veins and textures of marble to shine. The result is a captivating dialogue between solidity and lightness, permanence and transformation, positioning stone as not merely a structural element, but a profound medium for artistic expression.

The exhibition stand, thoughtfully designed by Felix Millory and his team, dissolves the boundaries between interior and exterior spaces, as well as between design and nature. A rich interplay of travertine, carved stone, fabric, and light creates an immersive environment that reveals the full depth and complexity of stone.

Dining table
Tecton serves as a reflection on the captivating intersection of sculpture and design, with marble taking on a structured form, beautifully balancing sharp lines with unexpected softness. The collection extends its vision to walls and floor surfaces, featuring two exquisite designs by Felix Millory: Scultura, showcasing a handcrafted relief that plays with depth and shadow, and Segni, celebrated for its irregular incisions.
