A Contemporary Narrative at Salvioni Milano Durini

At the showroom of Salvioni Milano Durini, Scenografie Contemporanee by Living Divani unfolds as a spatial essay on contemporary dwelling — where design is neither spectacle nor statement, but a calibrated expression of everyday life.

The entrance reads almost like a prologue. The Extrasoft sofa anchors the room with quiet authority, accompanied by the iconic Frog armchairs. Above, a rice-paper lamp hovers softly, dissolving edges and tempering the architecture with a diffused glow. What emerges is not a set, but an atmosphere — measured, intimate, deliberate.

From there, the living area composes itself through balance and proportion. The Brasilia table beneath Ad-astra pendants establishes a vertical dialogue of light and structure, while the sculptural Ouzo easy chairs introduce a subtle counterpoint. Sailor bookcases trace graphic lines along the wall; the Alvea sideboard, paired with the Paradigma mirror and charcoal-dyed oak accents, deepens the material palette without excess. Even the Aero T trolleys, visible from the windows, function as quiet punctuation marks — mobile, precise, restrained.

The night setting shifts the tone toward softness and introspection. A preview of 2026 is revealed through the Greene Bed by David Lopez Quincoces, whose gentle curves convey an ease that feels instinctive rather than designed. Confident armchairs extend the space beyond rest into conversation, framed by the light architectural rhythm of Aero bookcases.

A scenographic vignette forms around the Inari console, flanked by Kigi coat hangers and crowned by the Galileo mirror — a study in verticality and reflection. Nearby, the Pebble vanity creates a moment of retreat, accompanied by photographs from Soliloqui: Milano by Gianluca Vassallo. The presence of Milan is subtle yet tangible — not as backdrop, but as cultural undercurrent.

The final composition gathers around the Gala sofa with Kasumi indoor armchairs and Moon Coffee Tables, their volumes calibrated with compositional clarity. Off Cut bookcases establish depth without density. In the closing scene, the Lemni armchair beside Light with a table suggests a slower tempo — where object and gesture meet in quiet reciprocity.

“The collaboration with Salvioni Milano Durini stems from a shared vision of the project as a cultural experience. With Scenografie Contemporanee we tell the story of measured and essential environments, where design engages in dialogue with space and with the dimension of everyday life.”

Ultimately, Scenografie Contemporanee proposes living as a continuous act of editing: removing the superfluous, refining proportion, allowing light and material to breathe. What remains is not decoration, but resonance — a domestic landscape shaped by precision and feeling in equal measure.
