Sarah’s intuitive portrayal of the strengths of women today

For Fall/Winter 2026, Sarah Burton continued to refine her vision for Givenchy with a collection that balanced discipline and intuition. Her third runway for the house, presented during Paris Fashion Week, explored the tension between structure and spontaneity—tailoring and drape—while posing a question that framed the entire show: “How can we put ourselves back together in the world we’re living in?”

Sharp suiting and sculpted coats formed the backbone of the collection, demonstrating Burton’s strength in cut and silhouette. Painterly references to Northern European Old Masters informed the mood, while sculptural headwraps by Stephen Jones added a ritualistic elegance to the runway. The contrast between strict sartorial precision and freer, more emotional pieces suggested a wardrobe reflecting the complexities of contemporary womanhood.

Burton’s latest collection continues to define a modern identity for Givenchy—one rooted in craft, silhouette, and the evolving strength of women.
