Modular Storage for Contemporary Living and Dining Spaces
Rather than introducing a new object, Ghidini1961 continues an evolving design conversation with Robert Stadler. Presented in January 2026, Flexor sideboards expand the collaboration beyond the Tasca sofa and the Flexor shelving system, translating Stadler’s conceptual approach into storage pieces designed for everyday living and dining environments.

Flexor

Flexor
At the core of Flexor lies an extruded aluminum structure that enables extreme modularity and compositional freedom. Acting as both a technical backbone and a visual statement, the metal framework supports wooden cabinets that can be customized in size, finish, and color—from refined dove grey to blue, red, and green. The result is a system that balances architectural precision with warmth, equally at home in living and dining spaces.

Stadler’s transversal and conceptual approach is embedded throughout the project. Known for questioning the boundaries between art and industrial design, he transforms Flexor into more than a storage system—challenging fixed typologies while remaining resolutely functional. This perspective aligns seamlessly with Ghidini1961’s manufacturing excellence, where mastery of metal craftsmanship, material integrity, and attention to detail elevate construction into a defining aesthetic language.

Flexor
Alongside the launch of the new Flexor sideboards, Ghidini1961 also reintroduces the Tasca sofa in a sophisticated all-white version. Retaining its signature references to equestrian accessories—most notably the leather pockets and metal detailing—Tasca expresses a balance of rigor and comfort through understated yet characterful details.

Tasca
With Flexor, Ghidini1961 and Robert Stadler reaffirm a shared vision of design as an evolving dialogue between structure, material, and meaning—quietly redefining contemporary living.
