On the occasion of the Salone del Mobile 2024 and Fuorisalone 2024, the outdoor design brand Fast is delighted to present its new collections born from the partnership with the Argentinian architect and designer Alberto Lievore and with the designer and architect duo Francesco Meda and David Lopez Quincoces, the brand’s new creative direction since October 2023. Fast is present both at the trade fair and in the city in its flagship store located in the Durini Design District. Both locations will be showcasing Velo, the new range of seating designed by Lievore, along with Roè, Naca and Samba, the new collections designed by Meda and Lopez Quincoces. A carefully picked selection of the brand’s most iconic past collections will be on show along with a taste of the new finishes .

“Fast is thrilled to be taking part in the Salone del Mobile and Fuorisalone 2024 to present its recent rebranding and the new collections designed by Alberto Lievore, Francesco Meda and David Lopez Quincoces. The partnership between the designers and the Fast family has generated more than mere products, but concrete testimonies to our commitment to excellence and sustainability. The core of these collections is to share the joy of living outdoors, a message that we want to convey with passion and authenticity,” states CEO of Fast, Marco Levrangi.

“After years of close collaboration with the company, I’m excited to be part of the Fast family and to contribute to this evolution. With Velo, we wanted to pay tribute to the essence of timeless design by emphasising the harmonious fusion between aesthetics, functionality and nature” adds Alberto Lievore.

“With the new collections, we wanted to shape the soul of Fast in an even more contemporary and poetic vision, proposing a bold and modern interpretation of outdoor design. Each piece reflects a profound dialogue between form and function, celebrating the constant harmony between nature and technology. The new collections are a vibrant tapestry of human creativity, woven from the stories, values, and experiences of the people who call this region home,” commented Francesco Meda and David Lopez Quincoces.

The New Collections
Velo by Alberto Lievore
The latest partnership between Alberto Lievore and Fast supplements the range with a new collection of seating offering remarkable flexibility of use for the most diverse outdoor situations. Versatility is guaranteed by the welcoming silhouettes and proportions and by a design in pursuit of comfort and lightness. The solidity of the material and the delicacy of the shapes come together in the backrest and in the welcoming seat in Batyline fabric fitted to a die cast extruded aluminium frame. Last but by no means least, the extensive range of components and finishes completes the merger of functionality and aesthetics, guaranteeing customisation and the perfect blend with the surrounding setting.

Roè by Francesco Meda and David Lopez Quincoces
A collection comprising a chair, coffee tables, sofa and armchair distinguished by clean-cut lines and a sophisticated silhouette which generate a timeless design to adapt to a variety of settings (residential/contract). A recurring feature of the collection is the die cast joint to which the extruded aluminium profiles are fitted. This frame lends a touch of modernity and light weight, while also allowing for various customisation possibilities.

– chair: created by a continuous curved line, the Roè seat fully embraces the collection’s aim of offering multifunctional products. The basic extruded and die cast aluminium frame can in fact be supplemented with cushions to enable total customisation with a number of materials and colours. Available in several versions, including naked or with a padded seat and backrest.

– sofa and armchair: a frame comprising die cast joints to which the extruded aluminium profiles are fitted to accommodate the soft curvilinear volumes of the cushions. This special frame makes for a perfectly modular product, so you can play with various compositions and achieve furniture which is adaptable to any type of space. Both the sofa and the armchair can also be further customised through the addition of leatherette inserts which envelop the frame of the backrest. Also, various fabrics are available for the cushion upholstery.

– coffee table: a series of coffee tables completes the Roè collection. These are made up of an aluminium frame – the same one as the sofa, adaptable to various heights to accommodate a variety of needs. Equally customisable, the top is available in several materials, such as aluminium, Iroko wood or lava stone. Owing to its versatility and distinctive style, the coffee table adds character to its surroundings.

Naca by Francesco Meda and David Lopez Quincoces
Much more than a simple series of tables, Naca is an aesthetic experience which captures the essence of what is contemporary. The focus point of each table are its legs, which are not merely a structural element but instead the very heart of the project. They are made from extruded die cast aluminium and define the appearance and size of each table. The variation in the arrangement of the legs generates a diversified range of products which, combined with the customisation possibilities thanks to various top shapes and materials, offers an extensive range of options to adapt to individual requirements. A smooth and simple starting block, ready to be supplemented and customised according to personal taste.

Samba by Francesco Meda and David Lopez Quincoces
A sophisticated storage unit, designed to accommodate the needs of those in pursuit of flawless storage solutions without compromising on elegance. The sideboard is built on a base of aluminium frames which house extruded slabs with vertical canneté in the same material, adding rhythm and character to the frame. The distinctive design of Samba, which is available in both the horizontal and vertical versions, offers a chance to transform outdoor spaces into functional, welcoming and unique settings.

Fast at the Trade Fair: The booth at the Salone
Exhibition hall: 22
Booth: G14
The exhibition booth designed by Francesco Meda and David Lopez Quincoces transforms Fast’s exhibition space into a casing that envelops the collections like gems while paying tribute to nature.

The booth plays the perfect host to the famous collection by Fast, Forest, designed by Robby Cantarutti & Partners and the new products designed by Alberto Lievore, Francesco Meda and David Lopez Quincoces. The decision to display both existing products and new entries together demonstrates the coexistence of the different furnishings in a constant dialogue between the collections and their intended settings.
