Designed by Massimiliano Raggi
Recognised internationally as the “couturier of light”, Contardi stands out for its ability to capture, understand and satisfy the needs of an increasingly evolved and demanding cosmopolitan market, for which the decorative luminous object is an ambitious and sophisticated product. Both aesthetic and functional, it must be able to illuminate.
This vision of archi-decorative lighting, for many years, has sparked the creativity of well-known names in the world of design.
The pendant lamps are the result of a decade-long partnership with designer Massimiliano Raggi; it continues today with unique pieces that exemplify this approach. Over the years, the designer’s stylistic signature has thus complemented the expertise and know-how of Contardi Lighting – giving life to exciting proposals with a contemporary taste and sinuous geometries.
ECLISSE 2.0 – suspension lamp, 2015
The Eclisse 2.0 suspension lamp is characterised by a play of lights, shadows and overlaps, inspired by the solar eclipse. The individual elements create a perfect combination of solids and voids, in a harmonious dialogue with their environment. The structure consists of three wooden rings painted with metal powder with a brushed bronze effect, light or dark – giving a sophisticated and elegant look. The smaller rings contain an adjustable light, diffused by alicrite discs with an alabaster texture. This is ideal for evoking soft and alluring atmospheres around the dining table, or as a centrepiece in a living room.

VEGAS – suspension lamp, 2019
Vegas represents the evolution of Eclisse 2.0: an advancement of the range that allows you to further refine the play of light by combining softer, diffused lighting with more focused illumination. Larger in size, the Vegas pendant lamp features a sequence of suspended rings, made of wood painted with brushed bronze-effect metal powder, light or dark – for an even more accentuated full/empty contrast.
The main light is inserted in the ceiling rose, centred on the open rings; while, in alternation, the alabaster-effect alicrite ones emit a gentler and more delicate glow. The two sources can be controlled separately, and the current is conducted by the coaxial cables without any power lead – guaranteeing optimal results and efficiency. This is an innovative architectural solution that unites craftsmanship, cutting-edge style and technological research.

BOGOTÀ – suspension lamp, 2022
The lamp from the Bogotà collection enriches the lighting proposal conceived by designer Massimiliano Raggi. A light point for the living area that holds a 60s-70s inspiration typical of Brazilian and South American modernism. Bogotà showcases Contardi Lighting‘s know-how in the combination of different materials by covering the lamp diffuser in fabric. A mix that gives lightness and elegance while respecting the contemporary code that characterizes it. The diffuser is covered in Vienna straw, or in Calacatta-effect white marble-effect fabric or white cotton, for an unusual yet contemporary touch, inserted into an oval-shaped wooden structure lacquered in black. The dimmable light, produced by a LED panel, gives a suggestive atmosphere with uniform lighting projected downwards. Bogotà embodies the archi-decorative philosophy that distinguishes the lighting proposal of Contardi Lighting.
