Design That Lets Your Space Breathe

When Francesco Rota first sketched Clip for Desalto, he imagined a seat that felt more like a line floating in space than a block of furniture. Debuted at Salone del Mobile 2024 with a single chaise longue, it immediately stood out for its quiet confidence and graphic simplicity.

Up close, you notice how the slim tubular frame and fine stitching almost disappear, making the upholstered parts feel like they’re suspended. Sit down, and that lightness translates into comfort — a soft support that invites you to linger.

In 2025, Clip isn’t just a chaise anymore. There’s now an armchair you can curl into and a pouf that shifts easily between a place to perch, put your feet up, or set down a tray. Together they give you more ways to shape your living space, whether at home or in a lounge.

What ties them all together is the same sensibility: thoughtful design that hides its complexity, a mix of structure and softness that feels effortless. Clip is less about filling a room and more about letting it breathe — a quiet companion to everyday life.
