Cappellini Lud’o Lounge Wins Good Design Awards 2020

Innovative Armchair

Pada ajang penghargaan Good Design Awards 2020, Cappellini berhasil meraih sebuah penghargaan berkat salah satu koleksi andalannya, Lud’o Lounge karya dari Patricia Urquiola. Koleksi armchair ini menang atas inovasi, bentuk, material, konstruksi, kegunaan, keberlanjutan, dan desian.

Kursi yang tercipta dalam perayaan 100 tahun Vico Magistretti, desainer ternama Italia, yang juga sebagai mentor dari sang desainer,  Patricia Urquiola. Lud’o Lounge  memiliki desain inovatif dengan siluet unik juga material daur ulang. Lapisan korduroi yang trendy, ataupun bouclé wool yang lembut memberikan pengalaman sentuhan dan kenyamanan tersendiri.

“The Lud’o Lounge is a conceptual and ethically responsible furniture project, capable of living more lives. With a simple change of the padded seat cover, the armchair completely changes its look and feel. However, it is not a simple padded chair with a removable cover, it is, quite on the contrary, a ‘dressable’ object, characterized by great comfort that represents an important chapter in the evolution of contemporary seating.” – Giulio Cappellini.
