Where Form Meets Function
Bonaldo, a name synonymous with nearly 90 years of elegant design, ushers in 2025 with Contemporary Soul—a refined concept that captures the emotional, cultural, and spatial richness of modern living. At its heart is a sophisticated new living area collection by Gabriele and Oscar Buratti: an organically conceived furnishing system that blends balance, beauty, and creative intelligence to elevate the art of everyday life.

The Buratti brothers’ designs embody the elegant spirit of Bonaldo’s Contemporary Soul, where bold volumes, balanced proportions, and refined aesthetics come together in perfect harmony.
Guided by a design approach that fuses visual sophistication with everyday functionality, each piece exudes sculptural grace and ergonomic sensitivity. The Belloalto sofa series, with its elevated height, supportive lumbar cushions, and wide, low armrests, offers a welcoming blend of comfort and poised elegance. The Bull armchair, a refined interplay of contrasts, pairs a solid three-legged wooden frame with the soft, casual allure of a padded back cushion. The Isabey coffee tables reinterpret the classic twin-column structure through asymmetrical bases, varied heights, and luxurious finishes. Completing the ensemble, the Arragan collection impresses with its essential forms, light visual footprint, and meticulous detailing—such as the recessed tray top and handle-integrated door—creating a living space where elegance is expressed with timeless, contemporary clarity.

BELLOALTO sofa by Gabriele and Oscar Buratti
Belloalto is an elegant modular sofa system by Gabriele and Oscar Buratti for Bonaldo, distinguished by its generously high backrest that offers superior support for the shoulders and head, enhancing the overall relaxation experience. Thoughtfully designed, it features a horizontal lumbar cushion and a wide, low armrest that contribute to both comfort and visual balance. Versatile in configuration, Belloalto allows for the creation of linear or corner compositions with the addition of chaise longues and terminal elements, which can be equipped with high armrests aligned with the backrest—offering refined adaptability for contemporary living.
BULL armchair by Gabriele and Oscar Buratti
The Bull armchair masterfully combines stability with aesthetic lightness, resulting in a versatile and elegant piece. Its soft, plush backrest cushion contrasts gracefully with the rigid, three-legged solid wood frame, creating a refined balance of comfort and structure. A distinctive tubular element—with an elliptical profile that flows seamlessly from the backrest to the armrest—is visually offset by the rounded seat, offering a smooth, enveloping form. Whether placed as a standalone accent in a bedroom or paired with sofas in a living room, Bull brings a sophisticated touch of relaxation to any setting.
ISABEY coffee tables by Gabriele and Oscar Buratti
The Isabey coffee table collection by Gabriele and Oscar Buratti offers a contemporary reinterpretation of the classic twin-column concept. Characterized by square and rectangular forms with softened corners, asymmetrical bases, and varying heights, the design skillfully balances solidity with visual lightness. Created for both living and bedroom spaces, these tables are highly versatile—designed to be stacked, moved, and arranged like satellites for flexible use. Premium finishes such as marble, wood, glass, and ceramic create elegant contrasts between textures—smooth and textured, opaque and transparent, warm and cool—highlighting the collection’s refined and modern character.
ARRAGAN HIGH and ARRAGAN LOW sideboards by Gabriele and Oscar Buratti
Gabriele and Oscar Buratti’s Arragan High and Arragan Low sideboards are quiet architectural masterpieces that can be used as elegant wall accents or elegant double-sided dividers. Their sculptural shape and balanced proportions, which are created from gloss or matt painted wood, give any room a unique character. The tapered door detail transforms into a discrete integrated handle, and the lowered top gracefully functions as a built-in tray—emphasizing the designers’ emphasis on elegant simplicity. With their poised and unobtrusive presence, Arragan sideboards, which come with a blade or plinth base to suit different aesthetic needs, exude balanced elegance and enhance both minimalist and richly layered interiors.
