PILLOW Sofa X KASSL Editions: Where Design, Fashion, and Playfulness Collide

The Pillow Sofa, first launched in 2021 as a bold translation of KASSL Editions’ iconic Pillow Bag, is back with a fresh new look. Designed by Muller Van Severen and reimagined by BD Barcelona, the sofa now arrives in KASSL’s signature lacquer cotton — a glossy, tactile material that has become a hallmark of the brand.

From Bag to Sofa
What began as an experiment in transforming fashion into furniture has become a design statement. The Pillow Sofa is made of independent, colorful cushions bound together with integrated straps on a tubular steel frame. Modular, sculptural, and endlessly adaptable, it blurs the boundaries between comfort and creativity.

Evolving with BD Barcelona
In its latest iteration, BD Barcelona has refined the sofa with a simplified modular system, improved assembly, and new material options. Produced in Barcelona, the Pillow Sofa is now available in six fabrics — leather, velvet, canvas, cotton, corduroy, and lacquer cotton — in a vivid palette of shades. The new black lacquer cotton version anchors the relaunch with bold character and undeniable chicness.
