With the introduction of Fortepiano, a collection designed by AL Studio, antoniolupi once again redefines the language of bathroom design: a sculptural monolithic block of marble washbasin that fuses architectural precision into a stage for daily rituals. Its sculptural precision reveals the depth of craftsmanship and innovation that define antoniolupi’s vision.

The name Fortepiano reflects a duality: a nod to the piano as a symbol of rhythm and harmony, and a tribute to the strength of marble as the undisputed protagonist. Surfaces, cuts, and voids are composed like musical notes, orchestrating the flow of water with elegance and control.

Fortepiano rethinks the marble countertop as a modular or custom-made system, with sinks carved directly into the continuous surface—round, oval, square, or rectangular—shaped as if sculpted by water itself. Available as a free-standing shelf or integrated with antoniolupi’s furniture collections, it balances purity with versatility.

Innovative details, such as the seamlessly carved towel rail, preserve the design’s essential image while enhancing functionality. The result is a contemporary interpretation of nature’s raw power, refined into an object of poetry and timeless design.
