Three signature shade models: Antigua, Guadaloupe, and Martinique

Contardi Lighting unveils a renewed edition of its iconic Calypso collection, designed by Servomuto, marking another milestone in the brand’s twentieth anniversary year and its ongoing catalogue refresh under the creative direction of Dainelli Studio.

Known for its decorative fabric shades and refined archi-decorative appeal, the Calypso family—spanning pendant, floor, and wall lamps—returns in 2026 with updated finishes and a refreshed colour palette. The highlight of this new chapter is a collaboration with Italian textile house Dedar, whose fabrics now dress the indoor lampshades with patterns inspired by Art Déco geometry and contemporary textile research.

The signature shade models—Antigua, Guadaloupe, and Martinique, named after Caribbean islands—are now available in an expanded selection of textures, joined by the new Sahara shade, defined by warm, earthy tones and subtle tribal-inspired motifs that bring depth and intimacy to interiors.

Material refinement continues across the collection: suspension lamps offer braided silk cords in moss green or the new chocolate hue, paired respectively with satin brass or bronze structures. Wall lamps feature dark brown bronze frames with brushed bronze rings, while the floor version integrates a refined side table in red Levanto marble.
