An immersive Korean steakhouse where architecture, cuisine, music, and light converge

Rockwell Group has unveiled COTE Vegas, a 232-seat Korean steakhouse at The Venetian Resort, marking the brand’s first West Coast outpost and its most ambitious expression to date. Created in collaboration with Gracious Hospitality Management, the project reimagines COTE’s signature DNA at a scale and intensity calibrated for Las Vegas—where dining is inseparable from performance.

While COTE Vegas references the atmosphere of its predecessors, it pushes the concept into a more immersive, overtly theatrical realm. Drawing inspiration from the brand’s flower emblem, the design choreographs arrival as a gradual reveal. Guests move through a series of compressed thresholds before the space opens dramatically onto the main dining room, anchored by a central island bar that functions as both focal point and stage. Tiered banquettes cascade toward this core, creating an auditorium-like setting beneath a radiant, five-petal ceiling installation finished in gold metal.

Lighting and sound play a central role in shaping the experience. Designed by the LAB at Rockwell Group, a bespoke system synchronises music, light, and movement, allowing the ceiling installation to respond dynamically to the DJ positioned on the mezzanine above.

Culinary action at the tableside grills becomes part of the spectacle, supported by a lighting rig capable of projecting animated interpretations of the COTE emblem across the space.

Material contrasts heighten the sense of drama. A narrow, blackened entrance framed by warm gold light sets COTE Vegas apart from The Venetian’s classical interiors. Inside, green leather banquettes, mirror-finish surfaces, black granite floors, and fluted marble bar details establish a palette that is both sensual and assertive. Subtle theatrical touches—custom lighting controls, mobile martini and champagne carts, and moments of celebratory illumination—reinforce the performative narrative.

Above, the mezzanine level houses a secret bar and four private dining rooms, including a karaoke lounge and flexible, soundproofed spaces designed for intimate events. Dark corridors, neon accents, and richly layered finishes maintain the sense of anticipation, while discreet balconies connect select rooms to the DJ and artist lounges.

With COTE Vegas, Rockwell Group delivers a meticulously choreographed environment where architecture, cuisine, music, and light operate as a single narrative system. Tailored to the scale and spectacle of the Strip, the project elevates dining into a fully immersive experience—one that positions COTE Vegas as a new benchmark for experiential hospitality in Las Vegas.
