New Products & a Set Up at the Decorex Bar
Natuzzi Italia is glad to announce its participation in Decorex, the most interesting setting for high-end interior design professionals in London. The brand brings to the fairground a special setup that pays homage to the 65th anniversary of the foundation of the Natuzzi group, making visible the DNA and heritage of the company, revolving around comfort and the Mediterranean lifestyle.
In addition, Natuzzi Italia is also participating in the special, site-specific set-up inside the Decorex bar, bringing the Apulian atmosphere and conviviality into one of the most popular areas of the fair.
At the Decorex show, Natuzzi Italia’s products beautifully reflect the company’s rich heritage, showcasing over 65 years of unparalleled expertise in design and craftsmanship. Each piece is a testament to the brand’s origins in Apulia, a region known for its natural beauty and artisanal traditions. The sophisticated blend of contemporary aesthetics and time-honoured techniques highlights Natuzzi’s deep connection to its homeland, where nature and culture serve as ongoing inspirations. The meticulous attention to detail, use of premium materials, and refined design language embodies the company’s commitment to creating furniture that marries modern luxury with a deep respect for its roots.
The Natuzzi Italia space at Decorex highlights how every single piece of the brand’s catalogue takes its inspiration from the company’s DNA and translates its core values into design furniture that exudes visual comfort, and a perfect mix of research and tradition. The stand features a living and dining area where the materials, colours, and shapes of the furniture come together to evoke a relaxed atmosphere and visual comfort, which are the hallmark of the brand’s distinctive style. The modular sofa Mirai, designed by Andrea Steidl and part of the 2024 collection, is the main character in the space, while the Radice wall system by Sebastiano Tosi enriches the environment with its solid wood warmth; the dining side of the space is characterised by the light shapes of the Phantom table by Mauro Lipparini, surrounded by the Frida chairs by the same designers.
The Decorex bar features a special set up by Natuzzi Italia centred around the Memoria sofa by Karim Rashid, pairing up with the Botanic armchairs by Claudio Bellini and the Couture armchairs by Manzoni and Tapinassi together with the Mercurio coffee table by Natuzzi Design Centre.
Mirai sofa by Andrea Steidl
For his first project in collaboration with Natuzzi Italia, Andrea Steidl draws inspiration from the Apulian architectures of the Frederickian era of the thirteenth century: like the great Frederickian castles, the new Mirai sofa features a structure with a strong personality, yet at the same time light. Mirai shows an architectural yet soft soul, a bold yet gentle and welcoming spirit, and, thanks to a clever optical illusion, the sofa’s lines – like those of the castles – seemingly diverge, only to reunite in a play of perpetual and repeated elements, as if forming an imaginative moving texture.

“In Mirai, the guiding principle is the inclination towards the future, just like the ideas of Frederick II, a symbol of the timeless culture of the entire Mediterranean as well as of ingenuity in the astonishing architectures in Apulia, with his inspirations from perennial beauty that only fleetingly arise from tradition but with foresight for tomorrow,” says Andrea Steidl.

In the refined seat, Steidl has broken down the concept of comfort into individual elements held together by an orderly wooden structure on which light and soft volumes rest. The three fundamental elements of the sofa, namely the cushion, the backrest, and the armrest form a fascinating play of heights that enhances and underlines visual comfort.
Radice wall system by Sebastiano Tosi
Radice is a modular system conceived by designer Sebastiano Tosi for Natuzzi Italia. Made of wood and metal, Radice is designed to be light and adaptable to different needs and spaces. Its modular identity and the possibility of fixing it to the ceiling or wall permits surprising volumes and customised configurations with shelves and storage units. Radice is a project resulting from the desire to experiment with the concept of limitless versatility, to offer objects and accessories that can harmoniously coexist in both living and sleeping areas. The metal elements, which descend vertically throughout the bookcase, resemble many roots of a single large tree, firmly anchored in the ground and dispensing wisdom thanks to its branches containing pages upon pages of knowledge and memories.

“The collaboration with Natuzzi was a very exciting challenge for me. With Radice, I wanted to combine the technical features of a day/night system with the refined aesthetics that identify the brand,” comments Sebastiano Tosi.
Phantom table by Mauro Lipparini
Set on two panes of ultra-clear, almost invisible glass, the top of the table seems to float effortlessly in mid-air, creating a striking visual effect. The Phantom table masterfully blends contrasting elements, bringing together the solidity and warmth of wood with the ethereal, impalpable nature of glass. The robust wooden top, available in either smoked oak or walnut, enhances the table’s tactile appeal with its textured, open-pore finish and solid wood edges, offering a material richness that contrasts beautifully with the lightness of the glass legs. This juxtaposition of matte wood and transparent glass emphasizes both the table’s grandeur and its delicacy, transforming it into a sculptural centerpiece. Designed to represent both conviviality and refined craftsmanship, the Phantom table is more than just functional—it’s a statement of design that invites gathering and conversation while serving as a testament to elegant contemporary living.

Fully upholstered in luxurious rawhide, Frida exudes a sense of playful exuberance while ensuring exceptional seating comfort. The chair’s classic yet contemporary silhouette makes it a versatile piece that effortlessly complements any dining space. Available in a rich palette of bordeaux, coffee, dark brown, black, taupe, and tan leather, Frida offers a variety of options to suit diverse styles, while maintaining an air of enduring elegance.

Memoria sofa by Karim Rashid
Reinterpreting in a contemporary key the enveloping and generous lines that have always distinguished the history of Natuzzi design, Rashid imagines a sofa that stands as an ode to Mediterranean hospitality and warmth, aiming to be the focal point of a living area dedicated to well-being and togetherness. Memoria is a modular sofa inspired by the sense of hospitality and closeness characteristic of Apulian culture: organic shapes and sinuous lines – evocative of the soft hills of the region with their gentle, rounded reliefs – reinterpret in a contemporary perspective the beauty of encounters and Natuzzi Italia’s vocation for harmony, comfort, and design.
Memoria sofa by Karim Rashid
“For Natuzzi, I wanted to create a space of curves and fluidity that could welcome people,” says Rashid. “A sofa is a meeting of people, friendship, and intimacy after all. Memory was born from a long and meticulous research, where the intent was to create a sofa unique in comfort and pure in appearance.”
The different modules allow linear or angular configurations, ensuring maximum versatility, while the armrests set back from the seat create an unexpected asymmetry that supports the sofa’s perspective.
Memoria reshapes the reassuring lines of the past for even more comfortable ergonomics. All the other details of this sofa loudly invite you to sit down, in an ode to Mediterranean hospitality and warmth.
