Where Tropical Serenity Meets Sculptural Elegance
Tucked quietly off Thailand’s sun-drenched coastline, Maison Mystique Hotel rises like a whispered secret—an intimate retreat where architecture breathes, light performs its quiet rituals, and every surface carries a story of refined tropical living.
Founded by Fearn Kate and Bun Dhadasih, Maison Mystique was envisioned as a sanctuary for curious souls—a place where imagination becomes architecture and where each space invites a sense of wonder. Designed by Fearn Kate, the hotel reflects her instinctive artistry, emotional sensibilities, and narrative-driven approach that transforms the property into a world suspended between serenity and fantasy.
From the moment you step through its hand-carved timber portal, the world beyond softens. Maison Mystique’s signature aesthetic—geometric silhouettes softened by tactile textures, muted earthy tones, sculptural forms, and gentle hints of European romanticism—creates a spatial symphony that feels both deeply grounded and weightlessly refined.
A Sanctuary of Light, Shadow, and Warm Stone
Inside, the interiors unfold with sculptural precision. Public spaces blend soft modernism with whimsical classicism, where limestone and warm woods are paired with botanical curiosities and brushed metal details. Light filters through rattan screens and dances across polished terrazzo floors, shaping an atmosphere that feels almost cinematic in its quietude.
The bedrooms continue this sensorial world through uniquely themed rooms and suites—each designed as its own poetic chapter. Whether it’s the nocturnal allure of Rosie’s Curiosities, the dreamy softness of The Night Blooming, the rhythmic calm of The Bird’s Calendar, or the romantic introspection of The Heart Poem, every room carries a distinct emotional signature. Suites such as Lilith’s Heart, The Bohemia, Eden’s Gardenia, Darwin Room, and the celestial two-story retreat Odyssey to the Stars reveal deeper layers of the hotel’s imagination, blending artistic storytelling with quiet modern comfort.
Bathrooms mirror this narrative serenity with oversized stone basins, freestanding tubs bathed in natural light, and warm neutral palettes that bring a spa-like stillness into the rooms. Textured tiles, brushed brass fixtures, and sculptural details elevate these spaces into intimate sanctuaries designed for slow rituals and lingering moments.

Nature as Living Architecture
Guided by Fearn Kate’s creative sensibility, Maison Mystique embraces nature as an essential architectural partner. Courtyards open to the sky, tropical foliage climbs through structural frames, and the sound of flowing water provides a quiet rhythm to the experience. Morning light pools softly on stone terraces, while evenings settle into shadows beneath layers of warm teak louvers.
Craft, Storytelling, and Touch
Every corner of the hotel reflects a devotion to craftsmanship—hand-thrown ceramics, sculptural bronze accents, botanical details, woven textures, and European-inspired silhouettes selected not for perfection, but for their soul. These elements become part of the hotel’s emotional vocabulary, turning each room and corridor into a quiet dialogue between art, memory, and imagination.
A Quiet Indulgence
Culinary spaces unfold as extensions of the hotel’s storytelling. The Vivarium, the hotel’s signature restaurant, feels like dining inside an ethereal conservatory—where seasonal Thai ingredients are elevated with contemporary finesse and served amid soft light and garden views. Nearby, The Botanist’s Bible offers a more introspective pause, a salon de thé where afternoon tea is accompanied by vintage botanical illustrations and a sense of hushed elegance. As twilight deepens, Bar Mystère becomes the hotel’s most enigmatic setting, a moody chamber where imaginative cocktails and refined spirits mirror the dreamlike mood of Maison Mystique itself.
The spa, meanwhile, embodies the hotel’s most intimate expression of calm. Designed with muted stone palettes, arched passages, and warm ambient light, it feels like an ethereal sanctuary carved from nature. Lemongrass warmth, lotus-root fragrance, and the gentle movement of water create an atmosphere where time stretches and the senses soften.
Maison Mystique indulges not through excess, but through intention—offering a kind of luxury that lingers long after you leave.
