Where is the Boundary Between Physical Activity and Game?

The FAS Pendezza collections explore the territories of wellbeing and psycho-physical balance that can be achieved in the home with the Art Direction of Basaglia + Rota Nodari.

Good design is – also – about meeting our needs; the one developed by FAS Pendezza in over 50 years of experience has as its focus the wellbeing of body and mind, through home fitness and game activities, the latter transversal to age.

The brand’s range demonstrates how creativity can contribute to mixing this decorative aspect (often a dual function of the furnishings) and the stylistic characterisation of the space, while maintaining the high quality of the products. An even more distinctive path with the Art Direction of Basaglia + Rota Nodari who also sign the most recent products, true cult objects.

Cubista billiard table – design Basaglia + Rota Nodari

Imagining a virtual tour of homes where a FAS Pendezza element has been chosen, one might be in a dining room, around a large contemporary white dining table, which surprisingly turns out to be a billiard table. Cubista has a top that is split into three parts for storage in a retractable cabinet and supports with integrated adjustable feet; an essential white/black/dove grey colour range that solves all needs.

Ghost table football – design Basaglia + Rota Nodari

On the other hand, with the discreet elegance of crystal combined with white or black metal and chrome details, the Ghost table football would immediately stand out, on a conical base that gives it visual solidity and the idea that it is an object to “look at and touch”, for friendly challenges between enthusiasts and champions of this timeless game.

Every-Body collection – design Basaglia + Rota Nodari

What about the classic corner where you hide your bench, weights and mats? FAS Pendezza  has given them a much more noble value with the Every-Body collection: the Attico weights can be placed on the shelves of a bookcase as decontextualised objects. Made of beech wood in bands of different colours, obtained according to drying temperatures, they can become decorative objects. Or they can be placed inside the Calypso bench, which is useful for free-body exercises and easy to position even in rather confined spaces. As any personal trainer would teach, all movements must be controlled: hence the proposal of the Narciso mirror, equipped with a bar for specific workouts. The set is completed by a mat for post-exercise relaxation, with eccentric and trompe-l’oeil graphics.

FAS Pendezza will be present from 18th to 22nd January at Maison&Objet Paris 2024: Hall 6- I73.
