A New Address Shaped by Design, Memory, and Everyday Elegance
At first glance, it feels less like entering a real estate agency and more like stepping into a thoughtfully lived-in home. Located at 100 Rue du Bac on Paris’ Left Bank, the Kretz Real Estate Flagship introduces a softer, more human way of experiencing space—where hospitality, memory, and design coexist naturally.

Designed by global design studio Label Experience, the 200-square-metre flagship moves away from formality and spectacle. Instead, it offers an environment that invites people to slow down, to sit, to talk. Design here unfolds quietly, allowing emotion and experience to take precedence over display.

The interior draws inspiration from the Art Deco façade of the Kretz family’s private mansion just outside Paris. Black surfaces paired with gilded brass accents echo the discreet elegance of the Left Bank, while a careful palette of materials—wood, stone, marble, leather, brass, and rattan—brings warmth and depth throughout the space.

Conceived as a narrative rather than a showroom, the flagship reflects the lives, travels, and passions of the Kretz family. Moving through the interior feels like a gentle journey, where each space reveals a different chapter.

The experience begins at the entrance, designed as a vibrant and spontaneous meeting place inspired by the Parisian bistros Martin Kretz holds dear. Custom-designed bookshelves filled with books, drawings, and personal objects blur the line between professional space and family home. Upholstered benches in textured Casal fabrics, paired with marble-topped side tables, subtly reinterpret classic café aesthetics through a contemporary lens.

Beyond glass atelier-style doors, the atmosphere becomes more intimate. The private lounge, intended for confidential meetings, reflects Raphaël Kretz’s passion for padel. Terracotta-red walls, a steel coffee table, and softly rounded seating create a warm and contained environment—balancing discretion with comfort.

The journey continues into a lighter, more expressive space inspired by Barcelona, the adopted city of Louis Kretz. A sky-blue ceiling, graphic rugs, and design-forward furnishings capture the city’s creative energy and joie de vivre, offering a visual pause within the overall narrative.

The office space introduces a more structured rhythm, shaped by Valentin Kretz’s life in New York. Subtle Art Deco and Streamline influences emerge through linen-toned walls, polished aluminium details, leather seating, and iconic mid-century lighting. The result is a calm yet dynamic workspace designed for focus, conversation, and decision-making.

A library lounge follows, paying homage to the Kretz family’s holiday home in Normandy. Ocean-blue accents, nautical stripes, and generous natural light evoke the relaxed spirit of Trouville, reflecting Olivier Kretz’s passion for kitesurfing while maintaining a refined, residential atmosphere.

The experience culminates in the winter garden bar—a generous space beneath a glass roof, centred around an antique fountain. Inspired by Sandrine Kretz’s love for Brazil, layers of green, natural stone flooring, rattan furniture, and lattice panels create a sophisticated interpretation of tropical leisure, reimagined through Parisian restraint.

Throughout the flagship, Label Experience approaches design as a lived experience rather than a static composition. Each space is conceived to serve multiple purposes, from focused work to relaxed gatherings, balancing practicality with emotion.
